The Pine Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, hit hard by rising construction costs, should be up and running late in 2008, able to handle the city's wastewater treatment needs for the next 50 years.

When fully operational, it will manage the treatment of Calgary's sanitary and storm drainage systems - our wastewater - efficiently, economically, and in an environmentally-responsible manner.
